Gunny
AvailableGunny is a bicolor German Shepherd Dog, about 1 year and 9 months old, living in Winlock, WA. She’s a large, athletic female with a medium-length coat and is house trained. Gunny is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. She’s now fully recovered from her injury and is ready for her next adventure.
About Gunny
Gunny came into rescue after a serious foot injury and underwent major surgery, but you’d never guess it to see her now. She’s fully healed, active, and loves carrying her favorite toy everywhere. Gunny has the classic German Shepherd energy—athletic, goofy, and affectionate, with a brave streak. She’s currently living with young kids but would be happiest in a home with older children, and she gets along well with other dogs, especially those who enjoy rough-and-tumble play. Cat and chicken experience is unknown, so best not to test her with them. Gunny will thrive in a household that gives her plenty of exercise and consistent routine. A large yard or frequent outings are ideal, and she needs reminders to reinforce her training, like all young Shepherds. If you’re a seasoned German Shepherd owner who likes structure and activity, she’ll be right at home. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has bounced back from her injury with no sign of it affecting her spirit. Her adoption fee helps cover part of her medical expenses and supports other dogs with special needs. Gunny is in Winlock, WA. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
