Zen is a cute 1 year old boy. He is mostly buff with white markings and deep gold eyes. He’s very sweet and friendly and purrs happily when you pet him. Zen can be a bit reserved at first but once he feels brave, he plays with enthusiasm and loves being around his foster and helping with whatever she is doing. And, he loves catnip toys. He will make you laugh and smile every day - whether he is chasing toy mice, or leaping off the scratching tree. He is playful, adventurous, and full of curiosity - in the best possible way! Zen uses the cardboard floor scratcher and also the carpeted scratching post. Watching the activity out the windows is very entertaining for him. Zen gets along well with other cats and easily blends in (he's in the same foster home as his brother, Benny). He has not been around dogs in our program and would probably prefer a home without dogs. He is fine with the foster’s older grandchild who is cat-respectful. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can provide them with a forever home. Zen is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
