Meet Lola Lola is a 2-year-old, 50 lb Great Pyrenees mix with a gentle heart and a soft, loving spirit. She came from a high euthanasia shelter where she was heartbreakingly left behind with another mama after their puppies were rescued—but now it’s her turn to find the forever home she deserves. Lola can be a bit timid at first, but she is incredibly sweet and affectionate once she feels safe. She has such a gentle nature and truly just wants to love and be loved. She absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with at least one canine companion to help her feel confident and comfortable. Lola loves soft toys (and is so gentle with them!) and will never turn down anything chicken-flavored. She is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. Because of her shy nature, she would do best in a home with older children who can go slow with her as she settles in. She hasn’t been around cats yet, but we’re happy to cat test if needed. Lola is also known to try to sneak out of doors, so a home that is mindful about door safety will be important for her.
