About Veggie
Meet Veggie, a small mixed-breed pup who landed in rescue as a stray. Heās about 8 months old and weighs around 12 pounds. Veggie is already neutered and up to date on his vaccines. Heās a sweet, sensitive boyāsometimes a little shy about being picked up, but once youāve earned his trust, he loves to be petted and will happily let you rub his head and belly. Once cozy in your lap, Veggie even enjoys snuggles. Heās still working on potty training, so heāll need an adopter whoās patient and willing to keep practicing with him. Veggie adores the smaller dogs in his foster home. Bigger dogs are intimidating for him at first, but with time, he should warm up. He hasnāt interacted with cats or children yet, though the rescue is open to cat-testing if needed and feels he would likely do just fine. Veggieās short coat is mostly black with brown markings. Born on July 17, Veggie is a Cancerāknown for loyalty and a nurturing spirit. Theyāre seeking someone whoās ready to help with house manners and offer plenty of affection.
