About Tyson
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Tyson is a remarkable German Shepherd who has overcome more than his fair share of adversity. Now about five years old and currently being cared for in a foster home, Tyson was found as a stray suffering from a serious injury. Despite having endured trauma most likely caused by a gunshot, he remained sweet and calm, demonstrating a truly gentle spirit throughout his ordeal. Thanks to a dedicated rescue team, Tyson underwent surgery and is now a thriving, resilient tripod. He gets around beautifully on three legs, adapts seamlessly to change, and refuses to let his past—or his amputation—limit his joy or zest for life. As he has spent time recovering in medical boarding, his behavior around children and cats is still being assessed, but he is known to get along well with other dogs. What truly defines Tyson goes beyond his challenges: he is mellow, easygoing, and just looking for a safe, loving home. All this loyal survivor needs now is a place and family to call his own. Bonus fun fact: Tyson was born under the intuitive and compassionate sign of Pisces! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
