Shadow came to the shelter when her family developed allergies, and now this 3-year-old beauty is ready for a fresh start. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and front declawed. Don’t let the declaw fool you — she still enjoys cardboard scratchers and loves going through the classic scratching motions. Shadow is a sweet (and sometimes sassy!) little lady. She loves rubbing on legs and getting pets, but not a fan of being picked up. She has previously lived with children and did well, although we do recommend children 12+ as she has her boundaries. She may be happy with another calm cat or a small, laidback dog — just not too many furry friends, as she prefers a peaceful environment without a lot of hustle and bustle. Too many animals will bring out the sass! Shadow recently had a small bladder stone which was quickly and successfully dissolved by diet. She will need to remain on urinary food to keep her comfy and healthy! Shadow also walks with a limp due to an old injury but doesn't let it stop her from enjoying life! This pretty girl loves admiring herself in the mirror and will reward you with slow, loving blinks when she’s happy. She has the cutest crispy little chirps and is quite the chatty companion. One of her favorite pastimes is bird watching out a window and loves hanging out in her foster's sunroom. She also ADORES watching the fish in the aquarium! Catnip is a favorite, and chin and neck scratches are absolutely the way to her heart. Shadow is ready to find a calm, loving home where she can truly shine.
