Meet Twila! This 1.5-year-old terrier mix made quite the journey—from Arkansas to Minnesota in the middle of a snowstorm—all in search of her perfect forever family. After lovingly raising a litter of puppies, Twila is ready to enjoy the good life. Her ideal day includes chewing on her favorite bone, lounging on the couch, and soaking up all the cuddles she can get. She’s an affectionate girl who doesn’t quite understand personal space—but that just means more love for you! Twila is eager to please and picks up on training quickly. She has done great with a consistent potty schedule and hasn’t had any accidents in her foster home. While she’d much rather be curled up near her people, she is kenneled overnight and during the workday. She does best when kenneled in the same room as her humans, as she is vocal when left alone, so a home without shared walls would be ideal. Twila gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and coexists nicely with them. She hasn’t been around cats. This sweet, deserving mama is ready for her fresh start—and she can’t wait to meet the family she’s been dreaming of!
