About Prudence
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Prudence, affectionately known as "Pru," is a striking French Bulldog mix with plenty of personality and a resilient spirit. After being passed along by a breeder who called her "too stupid" to breed, Prudence faced numerous medical challenges that were lovingly addressed in her foster home, including tail and ear surgeries and a specialty spay procedure. She may continue to experience chronic ear issues due to past neglect. Now about 2.5 years old, Pru is a bossy and confident girl who does best with dogs her size or larger. She is not suitable for homes with small animals and prefers a yard with a secure fence that doesn't directly border another. With about 34 pounds packed into a compact and sturdy frame, she's lively and likely best matched to adult or teen households, as she may be too energetic for young children. Pru is currently being fostered in Bay City, MI. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Fun fact: with a birthday of November 11, Pru is a Scorpio, which is known for loyalty and determination—two qualities she demonstrates every day. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

French Bulldog mixes do not require large outdoor spaces but do benefit from a secure yard or regular leash walks. A small to medium yard is usually sufficient as long as they receive daily exercise.
