Prudence—called Pru by her friends—is a stout French Bulldog mix with plenty of personality, currently around two and a half. She’s had a rough start: rehomed by a so-called breeder and then bounced to a couple who couldn’t manage her medical needs. After multiple surgeries and vet visits, Pru’s tail was removed due to severe infection, she’s had rectal and ear masses addressed, and she’s been given a specialty spay after a prior c-section. Her ears will always need some extra attention because of old, untreated infections. Energetic and confident, Pru prefers the company of dogs her size or larger, but does not get along with small animals or cats. She can be reactive to animals beyond her own yard, so she’ll need a securely fenced yard that doesn’t border directly on others. Pru is squat and solid (around 34 pounds), house trained, and fully vaccinated. Her spirited nature makes her a better fit for a home with teens or adults—she’s simply too much for little kids.
