About Lupin And Rose
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Lupin (with his huge polydactyl front paws) and Rose arrived in their foster home after being rescued from the streets of New Haven, CT, just in time to escape winter. These two are a bonded pair who find comfort in each other's company. Lupin is a charming orange and white polydactyl boy who spends his afternoons lounging in a cat tree cubby or nestled in a cozy cat donut. As evening sets in, he becomes playful with energetic zoomies before cuddling up next to his foster dad. He has a loud, delightful purr and enjoys chin scratches, pets, and batting at toys with his oversized paws. Rose is a beautiful dark tortie who is a bit on the shy side and relies on her brother for support. She adores Churu treats, especially when offered on a finger, and appreciates gentle conversation. Throughout the day, she prefers sleeping on a closet shelf or snuggling in the cat donut with Lupin, and sheโll join her siblings on the bed at night. Recently, Rose has become more engaged thanks to cat TV and gentle play, showing signs sheโll thrive in a patient, nurturing home where she can grow at her own pace. With consistent enrichment and bonding, she could blossom into a wonderful lap cat. Both cats are great eaters, love wet and dry food, and are meticulous about grooming and using the litter box. Rose and Lupin would do well in a loving home that can provide them daily enrichment and let them flourish together at their own speed. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
