Gordy's estimated birthdate: March 18, 2021 Meet handsome Gordy. He was transferred to our rescue from Romulus Animal Control. Unfortunately Gordy is heartworm positive and is starting his treatment. He will require monthly heartworm preventative for the rest of his life. Gordy loves to play with balls and sticks. He is a typical happy go luck shepherd. Good with dogs and cats. Gordy's forever home is required to have a totally enclosed, physically fenced yard. He is neutered, up to date on her vaccinations as well as house and crate trained. Gordy is an amazing guy looking for a forever family to share the rest of his life with . . . is that with you? All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same-day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6-week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs. No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Gordy's adoption fee is $300.
