Shiro is smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn. He already knows commands like sit, has a quick recall, and responds well to structure and consistency. He enjoys treats, cozy dog beds, blankets, and a good chew toy. Shiro would do best in an only-dog home or possibly with a calm, gentle female dog. He can be selective with other dogs, especially those with high energy, so a home with Boxer experience or a confident handler would be ideal to help him thrive. Shiro was saved from the euthanasia list at Harris County Pets in Houston, Texas, and is now safe in foster care while waiting for his forever home. He is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention.
