Because of this, she’ll need a patient, kitty-savvy adopter who understands that trust takes time. When Zadie first arrives, she may be shy and even hiss—but don’t be discouraged! She is not aggressive, just unsure. Give her a few days (and some space), and you’ll start to see her true personality shine! Once she feels safe, Zadie becomes incredibly loving! She’ll seek you out for pets, affection, and even little kisses! She also has a playful side. Her favorite thing? Ball toys! Zadie would do best in a calm, low-traffic home. She can do well with other mellow cats or calm dogs, as long as introductions are slow and respectful.
