Binx prefers a quieter environment and would likely do best as the only cat, though he has tolerated dogs as long as he’s given space to do his own thing. He isn’t much for playtime, but he absolutely adores attention—especially ear scratches and gentle pets. He’ll often show his affection by giving soft head bumps, soaking up love from his favorite people. He’s a tidy boy who uses his litterbox well and has a soft spot for wet food. At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost. No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
