Loretta's story didn't start the way it should have. This sweet 1 to 2 year old English Bulldog was found wandering the streets of South Houston, trying to get by on an injured back paw that made every step painful. We don't know how long she was out there or how she ended up alone, but we do know she deserved better. Thanks to our incredible village, Loretta found her way to safety. And slowly, with care and love, she's been healing. Now, she's ready for her next chapter. Loretta is preparing for her spay and is officially looking for a forever family to call her own. She's everything you could hope for, gentle, loving, and full of quiet resilience. She adores other dogs, is wonderful with kids, and her foster home has two, including a toddler she loves running around the yard with and helping on snack clean up patrol. She has also been around cats and does not pay any attention to them. After everything she's been through, Loretta is ready for a soft place to land, a home where she never has to wonder if she's safe again.
