Meet Ghost 🤍 Ghost is a stunning, purebred white husky, estimated to be around 1 year old and about 50 pounds—but her beauty only tells half her story. This sweet girl was abandoned in the most heartbreaking way… dumped on the side of a 55 mph highway in rural South Carolina. Confused and loyal to a fault, Ghost didn’t run away. Instead, she stayed close by, hiding in the woods, waiting for her person to come back for her… but they never did. For over a week, she survived alone—scared, hungry, and still holding onto hope—until we were finally able to bring her to safety. Despite everything she’s been through, Ghost’s spirit is unbelievably gentle and loving. She hasn’t let her past harden her heart. In fact, she bonds quickly and deeply, craving the love she was once denied. Within just a few hours, she was already learning “sit,” showing just how smart and eager she is to please. With a little guidance and consistency, she’s going to make someone an incredible companion. Ghost is everything you’d want in a husky—intelligent, loyal, and full of love—but like many in her breed, she may have a bit of an adventurous side. Because of this, she will need a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where she can safely explore. Ghost has been great with all the dogs (4) in the home both male and female and ignored the kitties (5) in her foster home. Ghost still needs to be spayed, and her adopter will be required to bring her to her scheduled spay appointment at our rescue’s clinic (covered by us).
