Oreo is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give him the time he needs to feel safe and confident. Nervous with strangers - Oreo can be unsure of new people and may bark or growl when meeting them. He'll need adopters who can go slow and let him warm up at his own pace Loyal once comfortable - When Oreo trusts you, his sweet and playful side really shines Playful pup - He loves to have fun and show off his silly side once he feels safe Vocal guy - Oreo is quite barky and will let you know how he's feeling Training in progress - He is still working on house training and will benefit from consistency and routine Kid history - He has lived with children as young as four and done well, but they'll need to understand his need for space and patience Dog unknown - Oreo has never met other dogs, so slow introductions (if any) will be important Alone time unknown - He's never been left alone, so his future family should be prepared to help him learn this gradually Oreo will thrive in a calm home with people who are willing to give him the time, structure, and reassurance he needs to build confidence. You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter.
