Very friendly, affectionate lady who is a master at helping with laundry detail! Estimated date of birth: 12/16/2023 Date of arrival: 11/17/2025 Gender: Female Breed: Domestic Long Hair- Solid Black HISTORY: Nicki was feeling stressed and anxious by the other cats in her prior home. While she was terrific once separated and placed in another room away from the cat pack, it was not a sustainable situation for her prior family. Here at CFC, she’s done terrific in our kitchen area where there are plenty of cats and activity and action! Introducing the marvelous and most luscious girl NICKI!!! If you’ve recently been at The Scratching Post, you may have noticed Nicki working on the laundry table on the left as you enter. She’s a very hard working girl- she holds down stacks of towels, makes sure hot towels fresh out of the laundry retain their heat for as long as possible and most importantly, she hopes to catch your eye! Dressed for success with velvety, long, black fur, Nicki is very friendly, affectionate and loving. Quickly and efficiently endearing herself to all who enter The Scratching Post, staff and volunteers alike reach for this pretty girl throughout the day. With her welcoming, peaceful and calming aura, she gives us a wonderful break from what can be very busy, hectic times at The Post as the resident kitties are tended to and cared for. Nicki is very much in her element in being the center of attention and a true magnet during the day for folks to take a calming break and check in with her. Folks also report that Nicki enjoys lap time so take a seat and see if she favors YOUR lap! Hats off to Nicki for always putting in full, long days and only asking for some soft pets, all over body rubs and whispers of sweet nothings in her ears! We love this great girl and encourage you to please enjoy her first hand. Come on by and look for her working on the laundry table.
