What my friends at ACC say about me: Blu was growling quietly and doing a little hissing while laying in the back of the kennel when spoken to, but when given treats, he quickly began eating them and allowed and enjoyed petting, arching his back and leaning in gently for cheek rubs. He's a sweet cat who just needs a little TLC. He was calm during a partial pick up and then resumed eating treats. He will hiss slightly when startled, but he's a very sweet cat who also likes to give head bunts. Blu tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that he go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.
