About Jerry
Jerry came into rescue when he was about 2 months old, suffering from severe eyelid agenesis - a condition where the eyelids do not form properly in utero and the eyes can become dry and ulcerated. Unfortunately, his were so damaged, the best course of action was to remove both eyes which are now sewn closed. But, this happy go lucky, and extremely loving boy isn't letting his new normal get in the way of living his best life with his little brother Cole; they come as a bonded pair. Jerry loves nothing more than to be with his human(s), giving cuddles and literal hugs!! If you get on your hands and knees for any reason, he'll be on your back in a heartbeat and hugging your neck from behind! He loves jingly toys, feather toys, catnip toys, springs, and playing with Cole! Jerry and Cole must be adopted together. Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
