About Saoirse

Click apply to start the adoption process. Saoirse is a 10-month-old female German Shepherd of a smaller build, currently searching for an active, experienced home. She is house trained, crate trained, and gets along well with dogs her size or larger, but cannot live with small dogs or cats. Saoirse needs slow and careful introductions with new people, but her classic shepherd bark softens once she feels at ease. Still in her “teenage” phase, Saoirse is best suited to families with older children or confident, dog-savvy kids. She thrives in energetic households and adores being outdoors, thanks to her intelligence and eagerness to please. After reconstructive hip surgery following an accident, she now takes daily joint supplements and will be spayed after she has fully matured. Saoirse’s new home must be experienced with German Shepherds and committed to consistent training, as she is working through typical young shepherd behaviors. She communicates when she's uncomfortable but is resilient and eager to keep learning. Her adoption fee even covers six professional training sessions to help her and her new family start strong together. If you are a dedicated, active GSD lover prepared to provide structure, leadership, and plenty of affection, Saoirse is ready to become the loyal, loving companion you’ve been seeking. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
