About Doodle Bug
Doodle Bug is a large American Staffordshire mix who arrived with her extended family and young pups. She’s about three years old and has a calm, steady energy, especially outside. The shelter is a big change for her, so it takes a little time for her to get comfortable in new environments, but she warms up gently when given space. If you’re visiting, the best way to meet her is outside where she can relax and show her softer side. She’s sociable with other dogs, happily playing with them in the yard, and she’s regularly paired with her own mom, Twist. Doodle Bug takes treats delicately and has done well around chickens and goats with some supervision. She isn’t house trained yet and is still adjusting, but there’s a lot of sweetness just below the surface, waiting for someone willing to give her a chance. Give her a look if you’re nearby—she could fit right in with a patient and understanding adopter. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
