While all of our dogs are cared for with the utmost attention, you'll be happy to know dogs adopted through this organization receive up-to-date vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and kept on regular heartworm and flea/tick preventatives as appropriate for their age. Our team ensures that each pet receives regular deworming to keep them in great health. All dogs will be confirmed heartworm negative before going to their new homes. Home visits and vet references are required for every adoption to ensure the best match for both dog and owner. Adoption appointments are carefully scheduled after a virtual home visit and reference checks are complete, ensuring Periwinkle gets the best possible start in her new home.
