Candy is from Texas. She was brought into rescue after her owners sudden passing. She's been through a lot, but this sweet girl is looking for a soft spot to land here in Minnesota. Candy is completely house trained, but there may be some regression with change. Once she gets used to a new schedule. everything should be right back on track. Candy is great with adult humans, and also older, dog savvy, considerate children. She has gotten along great with other dogs (both large and small) at her Texan foster home, but cats are still an unknown for her. Candy is looking for a home that will let her decompress and re-bloom. She is an affectionate cuddler, sleeping in bed at night with her Texan foster mom. She would love a calm house, with a doggie bed in a sunspot to live out her golden years.
