About Paisley
18-month-old Paisley is a gentle, sensitive girl who came into rescue looking for a patient and loving forever home. She can be shy with new people, but once she learns you are safe, she becomes deeply loyal and will happily follow her person everywhere. She is doing well with potty training and is already kennel trained, though she may be vocal at first — so she is not a good fit for homes with shared walls. Paisley is wonderful with other dogs and truly needs a confident canine buddy in the home to help her continue building trust and learning how to be a dog and build her confidence. Paisley is not comfortable with a harness or leash yet, so a securely fenced yard is required while she continues to learn at her own pace. If you think Paisley might be the perfect addition to your home, please reach out. We would love to arrange a meet‑and‑greet so you can see just how special she is. All our dogs are current on vaccinations which include Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella. They are spayed and or neutered, have been fecal tested and heartworm tested, and had a dental cleaning if necessary. They are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative as needed in rescue. They all will have a microchip that will be registered in the adopter's name and is good for a lifetime with no additional fees. The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home inspection, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for all our dogs is $400. We do not REQUIRE a fenced in yard (some dogs do not require a fence, if they can walk well on harness and leash. This is decided by what is best for each dog individually.) We are willing to adopt to out-of-state applicants, but you must travel to the foster home location of your dog which is in Omaha or within a 90-minute drive from the Omaha area to meet and travel home with your dog. We do not transport or ship dogs. If you are interested in adding this beautiful baby to your loving family, please visit our website and fill out an adoption application at http://www.nebraskadachshundrescue.org/adoptapp.htm The adoption fee is $400.
