About Welcome

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Step into Welcome's world and meet a spunky girl just shy of her 5th birthday, ready to celebrate her big day in a forever home of her own. Welcome is no ordinary kitty; she's charmingly quirky with a personality full of big feelings and unique preferences. She is adamant about not sharing her space with other cats—she simply can’t coexist with feline friends and her stance is unwavering. Being picked up is another strong no for Welcome; she makes it clear she prefers affection on her own terms. She manages some anxiety which shows up as tail chasing and being quite vocal, but with the help of two daily medications, she's become more comfortable in her routine. For her health and happiness, her future adopter must have an established relationship with a veterinarian to ensure she continues receiving her medication. The shelter staff is always available for any questions about her care. Due to Welcome’s sensitivities, she's not a match for homes with children but may do well with relaxed teens or adults in a low-key environment. She’s eager to be the only animal in your life and, once she trusts you, offers plenty of sweet companionship. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
