About Houdini

Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Sumatra, one of the adorable Coffee Siblings, who came to Juliet's House Animal Rescue and has blossomed into a lively and loving kitten. With her sleek black coat and energetic spirit, Sumatra is always ready to dive headfirst into playtime, chasing toys and entertaining herself along with her siblings. Though adventurous, she is also sweet and affectionate, quickly settling down for attention and snuggles once her playful energy has been spent. Sumatra is social, playful, and litter box trained. She enjoys being around other cats, especially following proper introductions, and is believed to do well with children and cat-friendly dogs. She would be happiest adopted with a sibling or another young feline companion to encourage her development and keep her company. Like all kittens in the program, Sumatra is assumed to be a mixed breed domestic short hair based on observed characteristics, and her adoption fee covers her spay surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and FIV/FeLV testing. For those looking for an extra fun fact: with a dob of 2/2/26, Sumatra is an Aquariusβ€”a sign known for playfulness and a knack for making friends! Please note the rescue's policy of adopting young kittens in pairs or to homes with another similar-aged kitten, to ensure their best social development. They are waiting with paws crossed!
