About Clayton

Meet Clayton, an unusually sweet and patient brown tabby with a story all his own. When Clayton arrived as a kitten, he struggled with mobility and his legs would tremble, often losing balance. Despite his challenges and anxiety, Clayton never reacted with a hiss or a growl; instead, he charmed everyone with his gentle spirit. Over time, his symptoms eased, and now he can walk, climb, and play just like any other cat—even if he still wobbles or shakes a bit, especially when he’s nervous. Clayton’s personality stands out. He waits quietly for affection—never pushy—with his favorite activities being head scratches, full-body strokes, and butt scritches that set him rolling in delight. He adores teaser toys and absolutely lights up for wet food. Most of all, Clayton thrives around other cats. He bonds quickly, cuddling and playing with feline friends (even happily tolerating the energetic antics of foster kittens). There isn’t a mean streak in this cat, just a mellow heart open to whatever life throws his way. With his anxiety, he’ll do best with older kids (10+). He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a calm, loving home in Richmond, KY. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
