Dixie Poo is looking for a family. Could it be with you? Up until now Dixie had lived her life outside living in a pen, producing puppies and then doing it all over again. Human contact was minimal, affectionate was non existent and she basically just survived to exist. She knew no different and lived that lifestyle for two years until she was confiscated. As humans we understand that rescue means new beginnings, a better life, and security but to a pup like Dixie it means drastic change and unfamiliarity. Coming into a home environment was a bit overwhelming for Dixie. There were so many stimulating, yet scary things to get accustomed to she would retreat to a corner, a hiding space or even her crate. Dixie is looking for a low key home and a family that can let her decompress at her own pace. She doesn’t seem to mind other pups and once bonded with a human she is a happy girl. Dixie is 25lbs and 2 years old with a possibility of being a JRT mix. If you can give this little lady a soft place to lay, some space, and TLC you might just be her forever family.
