Marina is a gentle, kind little dog that was found as a stray at a grade school in California. One of our rescue partners took Marina in and no owner responded to her stray hold so we took Marina into our program to give her a wonderful new life. - 17 pounds and approximately 1 year old - Short legs, long body and looks very Dachshund to us. She has a gorgeous, black brindle coat that is so shiny. - Good with other dogs and cats and has been fostered for weeks with both. - Lower energy and loves to cuddle and relax with her owner. Has a meek, pleasant, easy going personality and her tail is often wagging. - Fostered with a gentle, 3 year old child and Marina has been appropriate with her. We do think kids ages 10+ would be good for Marina only because she really blossoms in a calm home. - Has not been noticeably vocal and is on the quieter side - Good potty habits Marina is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, dewormed, microchipped and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
