Jimbo is a handsome 2-year-old male Chihuahua mix, about 20 pounds. He came into rescue after being found stray in the city of Tieton, taken in by the Public Works Department. They do not have animal control, so they reached out to us to help him find his way his forever family. Jimbo is very resilent and while shy at first, he's quickly becomes quite friendly, and very playful and interactive when he gets to know you. He is more of a people dog than a dog's dog and will get very attached to "his" person very quickly. That can sometimes manifests itself as resource guarding so he would do best in an adult only home, as an only dog or with a very dog pack savvy human with indifferent dog pack members. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments.
