Maggie is an affectionate, playful dog with a softer side—she’s quick to nuzzle up to anyone willing to give her back or ear a good scratch. Estimated to be about 4 or 5 years old, she came to the rescue unexpectedly, left behind at the shelter’s door without much of a story. Since joining the team here, Maggie has received a wellness check and is vaccinated. She’s been observed to do fine with bigger dogs but doesn’t do as well with those smaller than herself, sometimes acting a bit bossy.
