About Cara Jamie
Hi, my name is Cara (torbie)! Jamie (male) and Zoe (female) are my kittens (both orange tabbies)! We are PURPLE pawprints, which means we will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for us in our new home: -Personality: Affectionate, reserved, skittish, quiet, and playful! -Can Live with Cats: Yes, Cara is very attached to her kittens, and would like to go home with at least one of them. She will likely get along with most resident cats, so long as they are properly introduced. -Can Live with Dogs: Cara, Jamie, and Zoe have never lived with dogs. Most dogs will likely be too overwhelming for them. -Can Live with Kids: Cara and her kittens lived with kids in their previous home. They will likely do well with most cat-experienced kids (six years and up), so long as they respect their boundaries. -Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes, Cara and her kittens are used to living indoors. -History of Litter Box Issues: These guys have had some accidents in the shelter, but have all started using the litter pan more consistently once we started using clay litter. -Energy Level: Moderate -Bite History: None -Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay/neuter and microchip for everyone. Additional Information: Meet Cara, a sweet little cat who is looking for her forever home, and her two kittens, Jamie and Zoe. These three would love to go to their forever home together! These fluff balls can be a little nervous in new situations, but once they settle in they are a social and playful bunch. They would prefer a quiet household where they can come out of their shells at their own pace. Cara is pretty attached with her kittens, and we would be requiring that she goes home with at least one of them. If you think Cara (and her kitties) are the right fit for you, adopt today! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
