When he arrived up from Louisiana, Sherbet came with the nickname "Orange Porch Guy," as his original rescue found him, friendly as ever, hanging around their porch. He was clearly nervous after his long drive, but we could see that, deep down, he was a sweet cat who just needed time to decompress. In his foster home, Sherbet was given that time, and now, he's begun to blossom. Sherbet loves sitting in laps and feels most loved when his human sits near him. Then, he will approach, purring, making biscuits, and rolling over beside you. He loves all the attention he can get and will do best in a family that can give him that! He is also very calm and likes to spend his time sleeping or watching the world around him. This orange guy is just looking for a home that can reciprocate his love. Sherbet is FeLV+.
