Gregarious, good-looking, gentle, intelligent…I’m Gabriel, a 4-year-old, medium-haired brown tabby, an alumnus of a TNR program and a graduate of PCHS in February 2025. I was having a great life in what was to be my forever home. Sadly, my person was evicted from his apartment and can no longer keep me. Luckily, I had a soft place to land on my paws until I find a new home. My coat was very matted when I arrived at the shelter, so a nice groomer gave me a "lion cut," and I am feeling much more comfortable now (although a little chilly!). My thick, gorgeous, medium-length fur will need regular brushing. I am a very affectionate guy who loves “making biscuits.” I’m one of those cats who likes to sleep the day away and be up all night. I love to scratch, so you’ll be wise to have plenty of scratching posts, boards, and/or boxes for me. I also like fitting into tight spaces, and I like playing with toys. Please be aware that I sometimes nip while playing. I liked sleeping with my person. I am good with children – if they play gently. Last, but not least, I have been eating Purina adult wet food. What more could you ask for in a cat, or in a friend, for that matter? I’ll make a grand companion, so come on in and meet me so I can be your Gabriel!
