My name is Flopsy and I am a 6-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix who weighs just 8.5 lbs. Yes... I really am as cute as I sound - and somehow even cuter in person! I recently spent some time in a foster home wait for my dental (all done and and looking good), and I showed everyone that I've got a big personality packed into a tiny body. I'm a fun, expressive little dog who knows what I like and isn't afraid to share my opinions. One thing to know about me: I can be quite vocal when left alone, so I may not be the best fit for apartments with close neighbors or homes needing a quieter pup. I do best with people who understand small dogs often have a lot to say! In my foster home with multiple dogs, I generally did well, but once I got comfortable, I did pick a favorite to boss around a bit. Because of this, my future family should be mindful that I may show some bossy or dominant behaviors with other dogs, especially if personalities aren't well matched. I'm at that perfect middle age - past the wild puppy phase but still full of life, sass, and affection. I'm looking for a home that sees beyond my adorable looks and is ready to embrace my personality, quirks, and all. Let's be honest... I probably won't be waiting long. But I'm hoping to find not just any home - the right home.
