Rocco — 9 Years Old, 10 lbs, Looking for a Patient, Experienced Home Rocco is a sweet, sensitive little guy who bonds deeply and loves being close to his person. He’s a world‑class cuddler, a loyal nap buddy, and a happy greeter who welcomes visitors with tail wags and gentle affection. He enjoys his walks, loves to sniff, explore and play fetch. He’s fully housebroken and not destructive — though he may swipe a tissue if he finds one lying around. On walks, Rocco will bark at other dogs, but his foster believes it’s excitement and a desire to play. In the home, he does wonderfully with his foster sister — he respects her space, follows her lead, and would love a dog friend if it’s the right match. Rocco has separation anxiety, but he’s improving with short practice departures. He sleeps beautifully in his own room at bedtime, though his dream scenario would be curling up in his person’s bed. He thrives with routine, slow decompression, and a predictable environment where he can settle in at his own pace. Rocco has a history of nipping, believed to be fear‑based and connected to being approached too quickly or from angles where he couldn’t see the person. When approached calmly and predictably, this has not been an issue in his foster home.
