All HSWA dogs are either at our Dog Adoption Facility or in foster homes. All dogs require an appointment to meet. About Me: My owner had to reluctantly surrender me because health issues prevented her from taking care of me like she used to. I am being well-taken care of and am being loved on by everyone at the HSWA dog house, but it is a loud and chaotic place for a little old girl like me. Everyone is very nice to me, but I am stressed and desperately wish for a safe and secure environment, a loving person or family, a comfy bed, and a relatively quiet place to spend the rest of my days. They tell me I am very sweet and the vet said I was in good health for my age - although I've been told I need to lose a few pounds. I am trying to make the best of my new situation, but I really want to find my second forever home as soon as possible. Could yours be the one I'm hoping for? All HSWA dogs available for adoption are up-to-date on vet care, are heartworm-negative, have been (or will be) spayed or neutered, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
