Ash is a handsome male puppy who made his debut into the world on November 10, 2025 when his beautiful mother (Autumn) gave birth to Ash and his 10 brothers/sisters. Momma Autumn had been brought to the HSOV on November 4th 2025 after she was found on Colegate Drive in Marietta Ohio. We were thankful that Autumn was safely in our shelter and was pampered with good food and nice warm blankets while she awaited the birth of her babies. Autumn had several mid-wives (our staff and kennel techs) who were always willing to help her raise the youngsters. Sadly one of Autumn's female puppies (Cocoa) passed away on November 12th. Ash has a black-and-tan coat, huge paws, a long tail, and a beautiful face with expressive brown eyes, brown eyebrows, and large floppy ears which are fringed in curls. Ash and his siblings have super sweet, super playful personalities. Since they are fully weaned, Ash and his brothers/sisters are sharing a large 'apartment' together where they play non-stop until they 'crash' for group naps. Ash has huge paws and is one of the largest of the boys, and he will likely be a fairly big boy if he grows into his magnificent paws. HSOV is currently accepting adoption applications for Ash (and his siblings). Ash will be neutered before being officially adopted by his new family. He could be fostered-to-adopt while he is awaiting his neuter appointment with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application. Update: Ash went home with a foster family on February 21, 2026 who planned to adopt him after he was neutered. Ash was returned by his foster family on March 28, 2026 through no fault of his own. It turned out that the resident senior dog in his foster home did not like Ash being there. So Ash is available as a foster-to-adopt with another individual or family.
