Meet Lucille! Lucille is a petite Pittie mix, estimated to be around 5 years old, and weighing just 38 pounds. She came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed, and now she’s ready to find a loving home of her own! Lucille is a gentle, sweet girl who truly loves her people and thrives on affection. While the shelter can be a bit overwhelming at times and she is nervous in the new environment, she remains friendly and enjoys spending time with her humans! She happily soaks up attention and will even sneak in a few kisses! She also loves her snacks and walks nicely on a leash, making her a wonderful, easygoing companion just waiting for her second chance! She would do well with children aged 8 and older. Lucille has the potential to live with another canine companion. She seems to prefer calm dogs that can be independent and co-exist. A meet and greet would take place at the shelter with other dogs living in the home to ensure it is a good match. She has the potential to live with feline friends with slow, proper introductions.
