Meet Linda! This stunning 2-year-old Calico is a masterpiece of orange, black, and white patches, and she's looking for a patient human to help her write her next chapter. Linda was surrendered to Chicago Animal Care and Control before arriving at our shelter, and that transition has left her feeling a little cautious. While she's currently in her "introvert era," every day we see a bit more of the sweet, curious girl hiding behind her initial defenses. Linda isn't necessarily the type to jump into your arms on day one, but she is the type to reward your patience with a soft blink or a tentative head-bump once she knows she's safe. She would thrive in a calmer environment where she can explore at her own pace. Linda is spayed, up-to-date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations, and FIV and FeLV negative. Linda is currently staying onsite at our Heartland Facility! Stop by during our open hours on Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm or Sunday Noon-6pm to meet them!
