Morocco is what would happen if joy grew legs. He is one and a half years old, wrapped in a gorgeous gray brindle coat as soft as a child’s beloved blankee, with gigantic ears that can get a smile out of even the grouchiest observer. He approaches life with his whole, enthusiastic heart – likes fetch, loves tug, lives for throwing his toy in the air just to see what might happen next. And then, in the afterglow of a chaotic zoom, he will happily melt into you for pets like a big, tender-hearted marshmallow. He walks politely on leash, knows his basic commands, and is smart enough to learn just about anything (especially if snacks are involved). He is friendly with everyone, greets strangers with tail wags and kisses, and seems to sincerely believe that hands were invented for petting him, specifically. He can be a little rowdy in play, but there’s not a mean bone in him, only zest for life. Morocco is still polishing a few life skills — house training and doorways remain existential mysteries — but he responds well to guidance and structure. What he offers in return is big-hearted, uncomplicated devotion and the kind of all-in affection that makes your home feel louder, happier, and intensely alive.
