King is an independent guy who loves taking in the world through his nose—sniffing everything along the way is one of his favorite pastimes. He walks nicely on leash and is easy to handle, though he may pull a bit when something interesting catches his attention. He will sit politely for treats and accepts pets, though he’s not overly demanding of affection. King seems content doing his own thing while still enjoying the company of his people. He showed positive interest when meeting a smaller dog through a fence, though he has not yet been formally dog tested. While toys haven’t caught his interest so far, that could easily change once he’s settled into a home.
