Hunk has quite the story. He was saved from the euthanasia list in December, and when he first came into rescue, we believed he would need another eye removed. But thanks to patience, proper care, and the right medication, his eye was able to be saved — and we’re happy to say he now has sight in it. Hunk is truly as sweet as they come. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who loves being close to his people without being overwhelming. At around 6 years old, he’s past the puppy stage and has a calm, easygoing personality that makes him a wonderful companion. He is dog-friendly and does well with other dogs, but would do best in a home with dogs who understand boundaries and are not overly hyper or constantly jumping on him. He appreciates a respectful environment where he can feel comfortable and relaxed.
