About Julius
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Julius, the shy sweetheart. If you’re looking for a companion who rewards patience with pure, golden-hearted affection, Julius is your guy. This handsome orange tabby is a master of the "slow and steady" approach to friendship, but once you’ve earned his trust, he is absolutely irresistible. Julius is a gentle soul who finds the big, loud world a little bit daunting. At the moment, his favorite safe zone is under the changing table, where he can observe the goings-on from a cozy distance. While he might start out as a professional hide-and-seek champion, don’t let his shyness fool you—underneath that cautious exterior is a cat who truly craves connection. The "Orange Julius" Special: Once Julius feels secure, his true personality shines. He is a total sucker for attention and will actually roll over to show you his belly when he’s ready for pets. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing this nervous boy transform into a purring, rolling ball of orange fluff! Julius is looking for a quiet, low-traffic environment where he can blossom at his own pace. He would thrive with someone who understands that the best friendships take time to build. Julius is very friendly with other cats! Having a confident kitty companion might actually help him feel more brave. He needs a home that will celebrate his small victories—like the first time he leaves his hiding spot just to say hello. Julius has so much love to give; he’s just waiting for the right person to show him that the world isn’t so scary after all. If that's you, apply to meet him! All of our cats/kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites. The adoption center is located at 7962 Clyde Park SW, Byron Center MI 49315. Our shelter is open by appointment only and applications must be approved before visits. What are you waiting for?
