Taffy only recently came to the shelter after being abandoned by their owner at the local park. Despite this, she has an incredibly sweet and friendly personality. Taffy is estimated to be between six and seven years old. She is house-trained, knows basic commands, is spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. While she could stand to lose a little weight (closer to 60-62 than 66), she is otherwise healthy and energetic for her age. She loves getting pets, going for walks, and playing with stuffed toys. Taffy can be strong on the leash, but it’s simply because she’s so excited to be outside. She also has an adorable “helicopter tail” that spins in circles when she’s happy, and she’s a joy to watch when she plays. We’re still getting to know her, so we’re not yet sure how she feels about other dogs or cats, but she has an overall gentle, sweet demeanor. She would make a great family dog!
