Shows up like he’s already part of the household and you just haven’t caught up yet. Now before you start picturing some high-octane, bite-the-sleeve, hanging-off-a-helicopter Malinois... ease up. Big Boy is not trying to join your tactical unit. He’s more like: “I have potential... but I also have hobbies. One of them is this tennis ball.” He’s good with other dogs, great with people, and has decided his life’s purpose is tracking the exact location of a ball at all times. He’s got that Malinois brain though—smart, aware, paying attention—so we’re still looking for a Malinois / German Shepherd experienced home that won’t be surprised when he outsmarts them by Tuesday.
