Volunteers say she's careful not to crash into people during her zoomies, which are quite impressive! She's a high-energy gal who enjoys exploring her surroundings and is always up for an adventure. While she can be a energetic and bouncy, Diva is also very food motivated and knows how to sit (though she might jump a bit before and after!). Diva can be a strong puller on the leash, so she'll need someone who can help her work on her leash manners. She's housebroken and ready to make herself at home. She's spunky and loves a zoomie. She races around but also seems careful not to crash into a human. Didn't take toys - just liked running! 03/14/2026: Kennel Presentation: was standing at the front of her kennel, she jumped up on the bars. Her eyes were soft and her ears down. She was wigging and moving quickly. She had a quick mid level tail wag. I was able to leash her quickly. Leash Skills: she pulls strongly on leash. She jumped up on the door to go outside and it opened. Sociability: diva is a very active girl who is easily overstimulated. She zoomies around the yard. She is very jumpy. She will bounce up on all four legs. She is food motivated. She knows how to sit but will jump up before and after. She allowed petting but did not sit long enough to test all over petting. Play: she will chase after toys but never took possession. Dog Interaction: n/aReturn to Kennel: walked right back in Color Level: blue Recommendations and considerations: previously walk sheet notes did not mention her jumping/overstimulation, made her blue due to that, could be leveled down if that behavior is not consistent. Steer test: 2/5 with water. High stiff tail when entering the yard. Nose to the ground. High, flagging tail when greeting with another dog. Pushy behavior, in the dogs face. Was unaware haze and Diva came in together and they were in the yard together. 03/07/2026: 3/7/26 5:30pm did not handle the dogs, the caller was comfortable with them and wanted to put them in the truck. 03/07/2026: Upon arrival to shelter: Easily leashed, high energy, strong puller. Allowed me to pet all over, jumped up on me and allowed me to remove leash she was tied up with. Was very interested in sniffing other dogs kennels when entering shelter.
