AGE: 9 weeks (as of 3/28/26) WEIGHT: 17.5 lbs Klyde is a playful, energetic pup with a big personality packed into a sturdy little body—he’s basically a tank who charges headfirst into fun! He loves to run, chase, and wrestle with his littermate, and he’s always ready for his next adventure. He’s currently learning good manners from his 90 lb foster brother and is already starting to respect boundaries when corrected—such a smart boy! Klyde is also very curious about cats. Right now, he prefers to observe them from a distance (with the occasional “hello” bark), but with time and proper introductions, he could easily become their friend. Klyde has been doing great overnight and is sleeping through the night like a champ. He’s still working on potty training, but making steady progress. He’s also started learning basic commands like “sit,” “down,” and “come,” and is eager to keep learning. The K litter's mom Koba came to us pregnant from our rescue partner in Tennessee. They were born on 1/24/26. HOW TO ADOPT: THIS dog is NOT in the shelter. For puppies in foster care, you MUST submit an application via EMAIL to smpetfinder@gmail.com. The more information you provide, the faster the process is for all of us. Once you are approved to adopt, we will schedule an appointment to see the puppy in person and you will adopt and take it home that day. Due to the (usual) speed and ease of our adoption process, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT RIGHT NOW. If you are not ready to adopt within the next couple of days, we totally understand - just wait to apply until you are ready. Adoption Fees: Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed. Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $25 for a 3 month supply of heartworm preventative, for a TOTAL of $440.
