About Holly
Holly is a sharp, fun-loving six-month-old German Shepherd mix whose spirit shines through every zoom around the yard—she acts like she’s getting ready for the Daytona 500. She brings laughter and activity to her home, then switches easily to snuggle mode on the couch after her play is through. Daily walks, active play, and a fenced backyard suit her best. She’s thriving with her training and already knows sit and down; she’s working on stay, come, and sharpening her leash manners—especially when those distracting squirrels appear. Potty training is going well, and Holly’s even starting to put herself in her crate when her humans head out—she settles quickly and shows a lot of promise. She’s gentle and affectionate with people, and while her experience with children is limited, her mellow attitude and loving nature point to her doing well with respectful kids. She’s cat-friendly; her puppy instincts might make her want to chase a running cat, but she’s learning when to back off and respects calmer kitties. Holly is looking for a home ready to give her structure, play, and plenty of affection. In return, she brings the best of both worlds: a playful partner and a cozy lapdog. She’s already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Interested adopters must meet with Holly, current pets, and all family members before the two-week adoption trial begins.
