Did you know that there was a Sammy Bear in Yogi’s Jellystone Park? I’m a young adult kitty called Sammy Bear. I made my way to a house, peeked in the door and saw other kitties. A lady opened the door, and I skedaddled! She left out some food for me. I was SO hungry that I came back, but I was NOT going into the house. Too scary. I had a few hiding places where I could keep sort of warm, and she kept feeding me. After a while, I let her pet me. Then I noticed a box with straw, and, gee, that was warmer than I expected. Long story short, she started spending more time with me, talking to me, giving me belly rubs. She invited me onto her porch, and I accepted. It was warmer there. I saw a tricky little door that lets little critters like cats, into the house, and I figured that out. I think I would like to stay inside with someone who would be my friend and take time to let me get used to things. I’ll be a good mate for sure since I’m smart and with a little patience, I can get the hang of things. I’ll bet I’m smarter than the average cat! I’m Sammy Bear!
